“What was that you said?” Sarah really didn’t like it when people muttered. Oh well it probably wasn’t anything important he said……right. She continued to wash the dishes while listening to him speak of what he’s been up to. “That’s not good. It’s never good when a ship of yours get’s beaten about, or roughed up in space. Of course i’ve never traveled through space, except for the space port.” She handed him some more dishes. “Well since your a friend of Jim’s, you can lay low here if you want to.”

“No, t’ain’t good at all. I mean, she…” he trailed off as the rest of what she had said sank in, almost dropping the dish in his surprise. “Yeh mean it? Yeh don’ mind if I stay here?”

“Yes. I don’t mind at all. As I said your a friend of Jim’s, and a pirate but i’m kind of use to your type of crowd coming in here. Just as long as my inn doesn’t get burned to the ground again.” Finishes up with the last few dishes.

“Sarah, I can’t t’ank yeh enough. I’ll even do a bit of fixin’ up around th’ place, if yeh want. I can be a… a bouncer person, if things get to rough. I really appreciate this.” Silver dried the final pieces she handed him and finished the stacks. “Now, where do these go? Oh, an’ I’ll keep it from burning again. I know a few ways to keep it safe.”

Sarah nodded to him. “Great since it’s just me here, I could really use the extra help when it comes to fixing things. Jim is always the fixer upper but since he’s not around, you can take his spot.” She glanced to the dishes, then points to a far cupboard. “Good, because i’m happy with the new inn and not about to have it burned to ashes again.”

“Ruthless Automaton. I hope that’s not true. I mean the ruthless part.” She tilted her head to the side slightly. “What did my son do for you?”

She gives a laugh as hollow as her smile, “Not at all, I wasn’t the one to pick my name, Automaton though, is fitting with whatever adjective you wish to put before it,” she nodded “As for Jim, he convinced me enough to return to my old home after  having left there for a thousand years -give or take-”  her nose scrunched up when she smiled. ” As well as a few Solar Surfing Lessons.”

“I see. Well it’s an interesting name to say the least.” She nodded to her as she continued to speak. A thousand years, well that is a long time to be alive or even around. Sarah chuckled lightly. “Solar surfing. How was it? Jim is a pro at that, and has even gotten in trouble quite a lot.”

“It was different,” She laughed, “I’m use to having my feet on the ground, or in a tree or flying in a spaceship, but flying on something such as a solar surfer is a completely different experience,” she laughed at the memory. “I’m up to doing it again. He’d do well with it on Sanskrit.”

“Well if your going to solar surf, especially with Jim. Always make sure no cops are around to stop you, and stay out of areas your not supposed to be in.” Sanskrit, she had never heard of that place before. “Is Sanskrit where your from?”
